CHEESE PLATTERS are an unfailing path to hosting stardom. Watch your guests lurk near the cheese tray, abandoning polite conversation while they happily sample the elegant array of artisanal cheeses and crackers, roasted nuts, and dried cherries. You’ll have return visitors at every event you host. Guaranteed. Simply call in your order 24 hours in advance with your credit card number. If a last minute event has come into your life. Call us. We can help. Gluten and/or nut free is an option. **December catering orders require 24 hours notice.
Versatility at its best! Our TAPENADES and bean spread work wonderfully with a selection of cheeses and meats/pates OR tossed with pasta, roasted vegetables, or whizzed into a salad dressing. Take away the bundle, complete with a tub of our fondue mix (see information below), which is always great to have on hand for a fast and easy meal.
For those times when dinner or entertaining requires more than the simplicity of a chunk of cheese, JBFC has the pantry supplies to kick it up. Oils, pasta, vinegars, tapenades, salt, and more… these delectable items can transport simple and rustic cheeses into a sophisticated repast. Try our housemade Janice Beaton Cheese Partners: Apple Rosemary Jelly, Pear Vanilla Jelly and Tomato Chili Jam, great with a variety of cheeses and everything from ice cream to a pork roast!
Breaking bread takes on new meaning with FONDUE. The world’s favorite meal is completely graceful with the JBFC fondue mix and recipe. A quick stop at the cheese shop for all the fixings … from crusty baguettes to maple pepper ham and garlic ring and the recipe. We also sell fondue pots and fuel. All you need is wine, a few veggies and a touch of cornstarch. Prep is in the shopping. Nice. (Fondue mix can be frozen for added last minute convenience).
Cheese tradition is alive in RACLETTE, the classic French/Swiss dish. If melted cheese over gently sautéed vegetables and savories makes your mouth water, then it’s sure to impress your guests. It’s a single stop at JBFC -- from the raclette machine, raclette cheese to all the typical fixings: bundnerfleisch (air-dried beef), cornichons, pickled onions and baguettes.

By placing your order in advance, and providing a credit card number (which we will process prior to your arrival on the specified day), you can slip into the shop to pick up, and within minutes we will have you on your way. You will be the envy of the line-up!
And no worries if you decide to do something last minute. Call us first thing in the morning and we will have everything ready for pickup or delivery later the same day.
